Are you ready to lead an impactful development project in Jordan?

Enabel is looking for a Project Manager to oversee a multi-stakeholder intervention focused on education and institutional change. Under the responsibility of the Programme Manager (based in Palestine Country Office), you’ll coordinate planning, budgeting, and execution across all project components, working closely with strategic partners like DAAD, the EU delegation, Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development.

 

Your mission:

  • Lead and manage all phases of the intervention, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive results in education and institutional strengthening (Results 1 & 2), with a focus on change management and capacity building.
  • Provide expert input, mobilize technical expertise, and promote learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Support partner entities in improving systems, processes, and staff competencies.
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth.

Your profile

 

What we are looking for: A strategic leader with strong project management skills, experience in international cooperation, and a passion for driving sustainable change.

 

Required qualifications

  • Master’s degree

Required experience

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in steering projects in international cooperation; each experience with more than one project is an asset;
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the specific area of expertise (education/TVET/skills development, scholarships/bursaries/cash transfer mechanisms)
  • An experience as team manager;

Required skills and knowledge

  • Previous experience in managing EU-financed projects
  • Broad and in-depth insight in all aspects of development cooperation
  • Monitoring & evaluation skills
  • Thorough knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Thorough knowledge of the specific area of expertise (sector/theme)
  • Knowledge of the vocational training sector is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English (in speaking and in writing)
