Background

 

To adjust our People & Talent (P&T) organisation to the needs of our internal and external partners, Enabel is looking for a P&T Strategy and Projects Manager.

Job description

 

Under the supervision of the People & Talent Director, you will play a crucial role in the operationalisation of P&T priorities within Enabel. 

 

The aim of your role is to provide a strategic perspective, an overview of the P&T department's priority projects, and rigour in implementing the P&T strategy in collaboration with the teams involved. 

 

The position encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from defining the organisation's P&T KPIs to coordinating structural projects. You will also work to provide strategic guidance to the P&T Director, to whom you will act as a trusted advisor. You will therefore help shape the future of the People & Talent function within the organisation (Enabel) in order to strengthen its impact in delivering Enabel's strategic ambitions. 

Tasks and responsabilities

 

As manager operationalising the strategic P&T objectives


With your team (direct: 2 - indirect: 10) you work with internal stakeholders, both within the P&T team and with other teams within the organisation.

 

  • You formalise the P&T strategy, in agreement with the P&T Director and the members of the Coordination Committee.
  • You actively participate in the reflection and implementation of the organisation's strategic initiatives from a P&T perspective.
  • You clarify and initiate strategic thinking in the various functional blocks, such as TA, TD and P&T Services, as well as working closely with the P&T Business Partners unit to formulate practical solutions to business problems.
  • You work with cross-functional teams to prioritise and turn the P&T team's strategic objectives into achievable plans.
  • In support of the P&T Director, you develop an operational, agile and innovative model (P&T governance management, interface with the circles, interface with D&O (Strategic and Operational Development, etc.) in order to optimise P&T processes and ensure that they correspond to the organisation's objectives/ambitions.
  • You develop a dynamic, effective and regular system for monitoring and evaluating the achievement of the organisation's strategic P&T objectives (planning, budget monitoring, KPIs, reporting, etc.) in order to facilitate P&T decision-making based on relevant factual data, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • You play a key role in change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and adaptations within the department.

 

As a strategic advisor

 

You support the P&T Director in drawing up and implementing the P&T strategy in order to contribute to the co-creation of the organisation's P&T strategic orientations, in agreement with the Coordination Committee:
 

  • After consulting internal and external stakeholders, you surprise the P&T Director with new ideas and recommendations on P&T priorities.
  • You map internal P&T developments and strategic adjustment needs.
  • You help to develop long-term P&T strategies that contribute to the organisation's growth.
  • In order to facilitate P&T cooperation initiatives, which would bring added value to Enabel, with public institutions, international organisations or NGOs, you work with external organisations (in Belgium and internationally).

Your profile

 

Qualifications 
 

  • You hold a master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field. 
  • You are a real driver of innovation and a leader capable of inspiring your team and partners to support Enabel in its development;  

 

Experience and knowledge required 
 

  • Preferably, at least 10 years of professional experience in management, including: experience in team management in a high-intensity transactional context, in competence development, training, internal mobility, performance management, coaching, succession planning and workforce planning
  • Proven experience in developing HR strategies, project management and the use of project management tools and HR management software
  • Experience in change management
  • Good knowledge of international and Belgian labour legislation
  • Knowledge of French, Dutch and English
  • Expertise in change management tools is an advantage (Agile, LEAN, etc.)
